Perth Airport needed a new play space for families passing through departures. As a team, we concepted, designed and manufactured an interactive play space that encourages physical and digital collaborative play. We installed 3 digital screens and created aviation related gaming content.
Sky High is the hero game in the space. It is to be situated at the front of the plane and can be controlled with the steering wheel. We wanted to create a flying experience like no other.
The game is suited for kids between the ages of 2 and 9. The aim of the game is to fly high through the skies of Perth and collect the rainbows along the way. We implemented a time limit, obstacles, checkpoints and a leaderboard system in order to make the game more challenging.
