Bolt and Knuckle is a personal gaming project I created that utilises NFTs in a Play to Earn system. The collection consists of 6666 generative characters from the Bolt and Knuckle universe. 3333 clones of Bolt and 3333 clones of Knuckle have been created to complete this collection and will live on the Ethereum blockchain.
Bolt and Knuckle are two hard hitting cyber junkies who live within the Digital Realm. They only serve one purpose and that is to protect the Digital Realm from any bug or virus that infiltrates their ecosystem. As a pair, they are a formidable force. Each has a unique set of traits that when combined together, make them unstoppable.
However, a new enemy has infiltrated their world. An enemy they have never come across before. A strange type of parasite that feasts on the code that connects all life in the digital realm. And to make things worse, there are thousands of them. Although Bolt and Knuckle are good, they don’t have the muscle to take on an army. So, they created the ‘Duplicator’. A machine that allows them to create clones of themselves. Giving them the ability to create their own army. The Bolt and Knuckle army.
The Game 1.0 (Phase 1) Our ultimate goal in developing the Bolt and Knuckle game is to combine a unique storyline, blockchain technology and a platformer gaming experience that allows players to earn whilst they play. The first phase of development will conclude with the release of a PVP platformer where players can use their genesis Bolt and Knuckle NFT to compete for tokens. There will also be a PVE area where players can practice their skills before entering into a tokenised match.
The Game 2.0 (Phase 2) The second release of the game will introduce an open world. Players who do not own a genesis Bolt and Knuckle NFT will now be able to enter the game and play with a variety of characters. Each character will have a different home planet, set of traits and special abilities. Players will be able to compete against each other in a variety of mini-games including the initial platformer. They will have the option to play for tokens or just for fun.
